CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- As high points to my job, in 2001 I was sent to Switzerland and
Germany to assist in the qualifying of the Swiss Thommen or the German
Bad Duben thread rollers for purchase.
- In 2005 I was sent to Mexico to obtain a second centerless grinder
from a sister company.
- In 2006 I took a key role in the creation of the companies
Hazardous Materials Business Plan.
- As lead man for my section I have done the purchasing of stainless
steels, dies, grinding wheels for the centerless grinder, tools, and
tooling for the thread rolling section.
- I have worked extensively with 303 stainless, and have worked with
different metal suppliers to develop criteria for material that rolls
well.
- Worked with many different die manufactures.
- Hands-on experience grinding thread rolling dies and know what
materials works best for dies for different thread pitches and forms. I
use the Oracle system to enter purchase orders. During 2006 I did in
the mid six figure range in purchases.
